Event description

The organisations behind The Pure Collective do things "For Love. Not Money." That’s why they co-founded Sydney’s first profit-for-purpose restaurant by the same name  - Folonomo.

And this year, some of the Australia’s most innovative chefs and wine makers will be supporting Pure’s amazing philosophy as they use the Folonomo restaurant to host their own intimate popup every over 4 consecutive Thursdays during June/July 2018, with all proceeds going to charity.

Opening the series are Fritto and Co chefs (and 2018 My Kitchen Rules favourites) Josh and Nic Sama.

The Italian brothers who won over the MKR judges with their perfect execution of Italian classics (and a challenge-winning ice cream!) are bringing their passion for good food and great company to Folonomo on Thursday 14th June.

"We love the idea of food uniting people together. Our doors were always open for friends and family to drop by. We would love our guests to feel like they are part of the family."

The menu (which features some of the recipes that wowed Pete and Manu) draws on Josh and Nic's passion for cooking locally, seasonably and sustainably. And will be served with their signature Calabrian charm. "We want guests to taste a little of our tradition and our upbringing, but also flirt with some of the flavours we have developed through our journeys and experiences."

Wine pairing, curated by Gabriella Fois from The Wine About, will be provided by Bart Van Olphen/Chalmers Wines.

100% of the profits from the evening will be donated to Josh and Nics’s charity of choice – The Starlight Foundation and Royal Flying Doctor Service, on behalf of Chalmers Wines.
