This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

In the lead up to World Refugee Week, please join us for a discussion bringing together community members and organisations within the fields of health, education, entrepreneurship and social inclusion. A panel of experts will share their knowledge and experiences of accessing services in Australia as people with refugee, asylum seeker or new migrant backgrounds.

Where: General Assembly, 12a/45 William St, Melbourne.

When: 12th of June. Doors open at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start.  Light refreshments will be provided.

This event is presented by Shifra, a social enterprise on a mission. We work to improve access to sexual and reproductive health care for people from refugee and new migrant backgrounds. We believe that all women should have the knowledge to make their own health decisions, based on informed choices, and in a language they understand.
