We’d like to acknowledge that we will be meeting and holding this event on the stolen lands of the Noongar country and Wadjak people of the Noongar nation. We’d like to pay our respects to the elders past, present and emerging and to all the First Nations peoples, including those who attend and contribute to the organising of this event. Sovereignty has never been ceded and treaties never signed.
Spyc Bashment is collaborating with Soul Alphabet to bring you a night full of Perth’s upcoming artists! With live acts bringing totally different vibes, come down and dance with us.
Not only are you dancing the night away for fun but it’s also for charity! All funds raised from ticket sales will go towards the Habeeb Mental Health Facility project.

Habeeb Mental Health Facility project:
Mental health is something that isn’t openly talked about and it’s highly stigmatised, especially in many African communities. The statistics on people battling various and serious mental health illnesses are high and Somalia is no different.
Currently, there are scarce facilities that specialise in assisting people with mental health illnesses. This event is held to raise funds to support Habeeb Mental Facility, one of the only mental health facilities in Somalia. Dr. Habeeb is making a difference, as he is currently seeing over 330 patients each week that are in dire need of support.
It's crucial that we treat mental illness like any other disease. It's time for the diaspora to come together and join the movement in ending the stigma around mental health.
