Event description
Good Swap is a clothing swap event for a good cause.
Find some new wardrobe options at the same time as clearing out some of your old favourites.
It's simple, pay $10 and bring a tote bag of clothes you no longer need, sort them and then rummage until you find a tote bag's worth of clothes to take! If you're finding so much treasure that one bag is not enough for you, each extra bag is $10 each for you to fill and keep.
If you don't have a tote bag worth of clothes to swap, don't despair! Pay $20 and bring an empty tote with you to fill.
Half of all proceeds will go to Orange Sky Laundry who improve quality of life for friends on the street through washing clothes, providing showers and good conversation. Remaining proceeds will go towards future Good Swap events.
WHAT TO BRING
- Women's, men's and children's clothing of all sizes
- Accessories and shoes (they won't count towards your tote bag contents)
- For hygiene reasons, no undergarments or swimwear please
Make the most of this opportunity to refresh your wardrobe! You will only get out what you put in, so only bring clothes you would happily receive yourself, that are clean and in wearable condition.
FURTHER INFO
We estimate around 8-10 pieces of clothing would make up your average sized tote bag. If you have more than one tote bag worth of clothes to bring, the more the merrier – it’s a great way to clear out those clothes you no longer wear. However, we still want to raise some good funds for those in need, so if you’re finding so much treasure it can’t fit into one bag, you can purchase additional tote bags at $10 each. We think a bag of clothes for $10 is still a great bargain!
If you're planning on buying a ticket at the door or additional bags, please bring cash.
Unfortunately refunds are not available. If you are no longer able to attend, please consider transferring your ticket to a friend.
Good Swap will be on the same day as the Northey Street Markets. Feel free to drop off your clothes in advance between 8.30am and 10.30am, and we'll sort them for you while you check out the markets. Doors for Good Swap will officially open at 10.30am.

The venue is a 10 minute walk from Windsor train station, or close to buses stopping on Bowen Bridge Road.
